First day of classes start the second week of September and end in May.
Dancers are placed in groups by the instructors based on age, experience, ability, and overall class balance. Final placements are at the discretion of the instructors to ensure the best experience for all dancers.
Clothing: All-black attire.
Hair: Long hair must be in a tight bun, with bangs pinned back.
Footwear: Dance slippers must be worn at all practices.
Girls: Red slippers
Boys: Black slippers
Note: Additional shoes may be required during the year. Your instructor will inform you.
Costumes are rented from the school. Families are responsible for caring for costumes and returning them in good condition at the end of the year.
Minis, Juniors, Intermediates, and Adults usually attend 2 competitions. Pre-Seniors and Seniors usually attend 3 competitions. All groups also participate in 2-4 non-competition performances throughout the year.
We do not require dancers or families to participate in fundraising.
